Well, Ceri has had that problem from the moment she first mentioned Biotechnology, but she also has a very similar one… [break][break] See, a Biology major for a Pokémon Behaviour Expert does not make, and the same can be said for a Toxicologist. Does she know a lot about pokémon behaviour? Yes, kind of, but that’s mostly because she was obsessed with watching documentaries about those things as a kid, and also thanks to her mum and her uncle. [break][break] Does she know why the Pangoro at this small ranch near Fortree won’t do the devil’s tango and produce deceptively cute Pancham babies? [break][break] Well, if she had to take a guess, it’s probably because Pangoro are silly, have a really short breeding season and an even smaller window to actual get the deed done, tend to be more interested in fighting than making friends, and are apparently really against the survival of their own species. But, of course, that’s just her guess, and she sure has no idea how to encourage them. [break][break] Did she tell that to the ranch owners when they called asking for her help? Yes. Did they insist? Yes. Did she feel guilty because they were friends with her mother? Also yes. [break][break] So, she shows up at the ranch, but instead of trying to solve all this on her own, Ceri does what she does best and makes the smart choice. Which of course, in this case, is to contact the local ranger HQ and ask them to send someone to help.
